The Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus has never quite seen a group like the MSOL before! Hosted by Sgt Mike Stewart of Saugus, the meeting was very informational during a presentation by the Officer Phil Program. Wayne Cheries, the Public Relations Director, provided the members with a quick overview and history of the program. They implement various safety lessons via magic and puppets to kids in grades K-4. Depending on the age of the students, different lessons are emphasized. The members were told to think of the presentation as a child would and watched part of a presentation. The Registry also reported that Operation Graduation was due to take place this year on May 14th. Any agency participating or looking for help should contact Phil Harkins at 617-770-0821.

The meeting was MSOL President Ofc Mitch Power's last one before handing over the reigns to Ofc Paul Corcoran. Not only has Mitch turned over the reigns at the MSOL, he is retiring from the Hingham Police Department as well. We wish Mitch the best and hope to see him at the meetings with all of his free time!
